Tips For Girls With Low Self Esteem

Low self esteem can be defined as degrading of oneself worth. Generally, it is be caused by physical or verbal abuse, post traumatic disorder, brainwashing and depression. For people suffering with this condition, anyone and everybody always seems to be better; this can be very frustrating. Here are some quick tips for girls with low self esteem.

It is very important to identify your strengths and weakness. Focusing mostly on things you naturally are likely to succeed in and working to improve your feeble areas is one of the best ways to deal with this condition. There are a few areas where you're above average; polishing them to greater heights will go along way in improving your confidence. In areas you are not doing so well, stop focusing all your energy there.

Try and involve yourself in things you enjoy doing. It could be caring for your loved ones or a pet; a hobby such as painting or even a sport you are good at. In short, get a life, do things that make you happy.

Stop criticizing yourself; it does you no good more so if it is unrealistic. If you're the kind of person that is always lamenting about your looks, chances are that you don't hold yourself in high regards. You need to appreciate who you are. If there are aspects in your life you can change, adjust; if not, try to live with them. In short, love yourself unconditionally.

Focus on proper living. This includes eating a balanced diet, exercising and having adequate rest every single day. If you improve your body from the inside, you'll naturally start feeling good about yourself which will improve how you view yourself.

Feed your brain with positive and uplifting thoughts. You could start reading self help books that have ideas about life and how to succeed. Remember, to only read the best; a daily dosage of encouragement will boost how you view life and this naturally improves your self esteem.

Write small notes of encouragement and read them everyday. You could stick them in your fridge or maybe in front of the computer screen. Short encouraging notes about life feed to your mind every so often will go a long way in improving confidence.

Take care of yourself. Consider yourself special and love who you are emphatically. As Gandhi puts it, you yourself deserve your unconditional love. Treat yourself every so often; this will have a big boost to your buoyancy. Get a massage or visit the spa whenever you can, life's to short.

Don't dwell too much on failures. You need to change your view about success. Great people the world over tried and failed a number of times before they finally made it. If you fail the first time, use that as a learning experience.

Start setting small daily goals. Setting small workable goals with realistic steps to attain them is very important. At the end of the day, ask yourself what you did both positive and negative. If you take the above measures long enough, chances are that you'll start seeing results.

Verified Successful Treatment for Malar Rash and Lupus!

If you have landed on this page, you have probably developed a Malar Rash; and, you are thinking.... could it be related to Lupus. Or, you have been diagnosed with Lupus. The joint pain, the aching and even worse for some people.... the un-lovely butterfly rash. SLE or Systemic Lupus Erythematosis is an inflammatory, auto-immune disease with a variety of symptoms. There are other types of lupus; but, SLE is sometimes identified by the appearance of the "butterfly" rash or malar rash.

The butterfly rash is just like the name states. The wings of the butterfly are on the cheeks and the body crosses over the bridge of the nose. The color of the rash can be anywhere from reddish to darker purplish. It can have a nubby texture. It can also come and go. In some patients it appears once and then never returns, even though the patient continues to have other symptoms of Lupus. SLE attacks organs as well. It involves primarily joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells and the nervous system. The disease also goes into remission for some patients. This insidious disease literally causes the body to attack itself.

Lupus goes misdiagnosed in many patients. They are tested for everything from MS to arthritis. SLE looks like other diseases and is sometimes the last option considered. It is diagnosed by assessing a myriad of clinical findings and lab tests. SLE patients require constant monitoring to manage prescription medications along with the progression of the illness. New organ involvement can be devastating if not detected early. Monitoring therapies is equally important to ensure that the patient is responding well to the treatment.

This is what I hear in my practice... "I hurt everywhere!" They may state that it is primarily joint pain. They may state that their arms are exquisitely painful and aching. They may say that either the right or the left side hurts more. And they always mention how tired they feel "all the time!" They wake up tired. Because fibromyalgia and MS look a lot like SLE--in terms of symptoms--the diagnosis may not be reached immediately. However, if a rash suddenly appears on the face, the physician will usually immediately want to rule out Lupus. Not all Lupus patients develop a rash. And, in some cases the rash can spread to other places on the body.

Autoimmune diseases, like Lupus, are still baffling scientists. Autoimmunity means there are problems with the immune system's ability to work properly. The body may have difficulty differentiating between harmful and healthy substances. Additionally, the body sometimes doesn't recognize self and non-self. I use an analogy of the stomach. When we eat chicken, the body knows to digest the chicken and not digest the stomach lining. When the immune system attacks healthy cells it may go into "overdrive". The result is an inflammatory response. Inflammation equals pain. To get rid of the malar rash, you have to get rid of the Lupus.

Myth.... There's No Cure For Malar Rash And Lupus!

If you haven't heard about it yet, every day people just like you are successfully dealing with Malar Rash (or Butterfly rash) and Lupus. The scientific research of three of the world's leading experts in the "causes of Lupus" have been compiled by Julie Liu--a nutrition counselor and expert. You are probably tired of bandaide medicine-covering up symptoms instead of getting at the root cause.

Julie Liu has compiled testimonies from hundreds of people who have found her information and followed the protocol. They have returned to living normal, healthy lives -- free from pain.

There is a solid treatment that speaks to the cause of Lupus. Julie has fully recovered from Lupus herself and is here and healthy to tell her story. These little known secrets will give you the relief found by so many others -- and fast! The underlying cause for Lupus has been found and you can reverse it in your body. Here's what you will learn:

Doctors have said for years that Lupus is hereditary. They are quick to admit that the disease is not well understood. Conventional medicine does not even touch two important stages of Lupus; and, as we know, only addresses the symptoms, not the cause. Understanding that lupus is a "cellular disease" is critical. The extracellular matrix has been studied for years in Europe. Once you know how to help your cells communicate with one another, you will begin to recover from Lupus... And, by the way, get rid of that ugly Malar Rash!

Patients with Lupus have a disturbance in the Extracellular Matrix which is caused by one singular biological trigger. Once this problem is resolved, rejuvenation will ensue. You will be shocked to know that studies have begun in various parts of the country to study Lupus and its link to problems within the extra cellular matrix, but sadly most of them were shut down before getting off the ground. Why? Julie Liu believes it is because Lupus strikes primarily women. And secondly, because pharmaceutical companies and research are driven by the dollar, not by the needs of society.

The Secrets For A Perfect Makeup After 50

After 50 women shouldn't wear heavy makeup because it accentuates the imperfections of aging skin. Dark under eye circles, wrinkles, crow feet, fine lines around lips will be more visible if wearing wrong makeup. Here are some useful tips on how to use make up after 50.

The first step in any makeup is applying the foundation. Women over 50 need to use a very light foundation with the same color as their natural skin tone. It is recommended to use primers before foundation, as primers smooth over wrinkles and tighten the skin.

If you like to use eyeliner, do not use it on the lower lash line. It will draw attention to the dark under eye circles and you don't want that. Draw just a thin line on the upper lash line.

Use soft colored eyeliners. Toss the black one, it is too harsh. Use brown and gray instead.

Hard tip eyeliner doesn't work on soft, aging eyelids. Start using a soft pencil that will stay put until you wash it off. You can also use a gel liner.

Smokey eyes makeup is not appropriate for an older woman. You don't need a raccoon look, do you? If you really have to wear a dark eyeshadow, you need to brighten it up with a dab of cream highlighter on the center of the lid, in the inner corners of the eyes and under the brows.

Be easy with the eyeshadow too. Use translucent powdered shadows, if possible eyelid primers that will smooth-en the fine lines.

For under eye circles, find a wearable concealer to help mask those dark shadows around the eyes. Using the right color concealer will make the whole eye area look refreshed.

The eyebrows are very important too. Shade your brows with a brown, natural looking brow pencil.

Using mascara is crucial for a perfect makeup. The focal point of the face is the eyes. The mascara will literally open the eyes. Use at least one coat, every day. For an evening out, use false lashes, they add an instant glamor. Top false lashes with mascara to blend with the rest of your lashes.

After 50 the natural color of your lips fades. No problem, there are so many lipsticks on the market. Choose a soft color that matches your skin tone. Don't use lip liner, unless it is a nude color.

You finished the eyes, brows and lips. Now you need some blush. Make it as natural as possible, like you are really blushing. It will instantly make you feel younger.

You're almost done! Finish your makeup with a touch of loose powder.
